holy crap how have i not heard this song until now this the deeper than the average slipknot song, im not going to get in to details about my personal life but based off of the difficult revelation i’ve been coming to about a certain person who i was always really close friends with and at some points used to be my only friend and probably the most important person to me at some points of my life, this song really reaches deep into me and tickles an area that i can never seem to tickle enough. emotion aside the fact that this song has 2 guitar solos is really unique and awesome, the only con of this song is that it took me this long to find it.

Wow, man. I always liked the song, but now that I've lived it...its hitting way harder. I understand now that it's about a spiral of isolation where a damaged person will put up walls and push people away only to later resent them for the abandonment. Self-destructive spirals are the darkest thing in the world. I know now why they are called demons; because the darkness can truly swallow you whole.
